Paris Immortal is channelling LKH here, after book 6. Which is not a good thing as this is a first book. Although Trey is a lot more like able than Anita Blake, the patronising way they both talk about their partners is the same. 'He is a little angel' 'Geoff is the sweetest thing, I can't wait to corrupt him'. Also so much repetition and over emphasis on stuff that a 5yr old would understand first time around. Grrrr

This book is sooo boring that I have ground to a stop. I have no desire to find out what happened to Trey in Louisiana or if he gets turned to Vamper. I have even removed the next one off of my to read list. Pants.

I can't put my finger on it, but it is annoying. Although lovely line from Gabriel "children have eyes with which to see many things, the filters of adulthood not yet making them blind" unadulterated cheese.
