this book is extremely infuriating, particularly in the denial of the usage of any actual medications.

you’re telling me that if i give my grandfather coconut oil with his meals that he is going to remember me and his dementia progression will reverse? i fail to see the plausibility of that

the way the author speaks about her husband has me livid. she complains about everything he does that bothers her. he could no longer do x & it “once again became my job.” you arent the victim, dementia patients deserve to be treated as humans, they still have feelings. just a little bit of tolerance goes a long way. they know how hard it is, however hard it is for you, i guarantee is infinitely worse for them.

im reading this totally satirically but i don’t think the author understands what ketones are because this is not how they work……also there is no cure for alzheimers or dementia, its a neurodegenerative diseases. scientists have studied cellular processes and genetics and proven that it cannot be treated. you cannot reverse neurodegeneration
