Liked the ending and everything else overall a better book than color of magic.

I’m doing a bit of a speed read today, I’m not skimming, but I am reading the book quicker as I have to return it to the library tomorrow.

Anyways enjoying how there’s this big Dragon fight, but as most of the protagonists are guards, the fight with the beast and the man with the magic sword is not shown, we only see the ending of it.

There’s a “honk if you love..” bumper sticker joke that hasn’t aged the greatest, I know people still drive cars, but I rarely see bumper stickers these days.

The story telling & the jokes are way more stronger than Color of Magic so far.

This feels like two books in one, we get the story of people trying to summon a dragon and the story of a boy being raised by Dwarfs finding out that he is not one and leaving home. Enjoying the book so far
