Even at only 41 pages one can get a sense of the conflicts in this play. It is these very conflicts that spark interest in the reader. To me one of the most interesting conflicts in this book exists between Rose and Troy. It is clear that they both share compassion for those surround them but what makes this relationship interesting is the way that they each express this compassion.
