I'm traveling for work. I'm in beautiful Monterey California w/ the beach literally outside my window and what do I do?..... you guessed it.. read. OH, and raid the vending machine for every possible known candy bar since I'm to exhausted to even think of a food to order for room service. I suck!

I'm too close to the vending machine. I won't see tomorrow as I'm going to die of a chocolate overdose. How many Rolo's can one person eat in one night before they explode chocolate & carmel?

Sans OMG, I haven't had Rolo's in years! I loved those.

Hey, my BFF and I are planning a two week trip to Scotland, staying in converted Victorian manors and castles...to read. Not going to do much exploring or hiking around the Highlands or the islands. We're going to read. And eat. And I. Can't. Wait.

Sans Thank you! We're planning it all already, even though it's not until next March. ;_; We've got our accommodations and a few restaurants picked out already and we're planning on spending at least half the day at Chocolate Soup in Edinburgh, reading and getting a choco fix.

Michelle, I really hope you don't die of sugar overloads. You're too fun to chat with to die!

That is my dream. Seriously, it sounds absolutely wonderful. Oddly enough, my closest friends are not readers (probably because readers don't get out alot to make friends). Thus, they would never go on a vacation to read. I find myself in vegas nightclubs wishing I'm in the hotel bed.....reading. :( I'm so jealous of your plans. That sounds truly magical!

Ahhh.. thanks! I made it through the night. I'm now starving (sugar is not very filling) but it is so damn cold in this hotel room that I can't get out of bed. I wish this trip wasn't so busy, I'd have more time to meet up with some goodreads/PBS friends. :(
