I really want to like this book. And I oughta, based on my general love for all things fantasy or Arthurian. I just can’t seem to get engaged in the story. Add to that the pseudosyncretic mess of worldbuilding, and I’m still willing to finish (slowly) but not well on my way to naming this one a favorite.
