Such a delight. A gentle interesting novel about one of my favourite topics - cooking. In addition, the book is set in the 1960s and covers 1964 - my birth year - interesting to hear about the history written as it is occurring (fictionally of course). An added bonus is its discussion of Paris and Seattle’s Pike Place Market which captivated me on my visit.
