Started a new book today so updating on that one

The reason I chose my book is it was about football. Many books don't appeal to me, but sports books are usually an enjoyable read for me.

I made a text to text connection because both stories involve strict parents. In my book, the dad is really strict about football, and in midsummer egeus is strict about who she marries.

The story has multiple settings around the local high school, but the main setting is on the high school football field. Weather that is tryouts, practice, or a game the main characters are usually on the field.
