I'm loving the story thus far, but I must say I really, really, really hate this narrative. It's a first for me and I hope it's the last. Authors, please stick with either 1. third person, past tense or 2. first person, past tense, 3. third person present tense (not my fave, but bearable, 4. first person, present tense (again, not a fan, but can suffer for a good story).
