honestly loving it - the pretentious, glorious new york society is so enticing and so vivid. i love reading about obnoxious rich people. setting is a lot about a society constrained and restricted by it’s unnecessary rules and expectations - also somewhat mentions the difference in liberation between male and female during thjs time period
