(..)but if you're into sailing these might even be the best parts because the main character Ole Storm is very passionate about details, he also knows how the weather/wind will change just by looking at the color of the water that's basically a super power if you ask me and i'm guessing it's a useful ability for a sailor. (..)children but doesn't know how to show it to them. I think a lot of fathers have problems with that. Then there's Richard Korfmann, he's kind of snobby and seems like a douchebag. I think him and Ole will either become very very close friends or one of the two will betray the other one. I'm still trying to figure out how I feel about the other characters so far.

i'm not that excited about this book because i don't really know anything about sailing but my dad loved this book and thought i would like it and he's usually right about books being good. also, i think there's a part in this book that plays in Kiel, a city forty minutes away from my home so i'd love to read what's up with that.
