I feel like this book doesn’t live up to the high circus so far. I was wary about reading this because of my infatuation with the night circus and my worry that I would be disappointed. Although the writing this far is very beautiful I feel like I don’t live the story as much but I still have 20% to go.

I have encountered a spoiler which rather than ruining my interest still peaked me so I continue on. I have decided I will read the short stories in between separately later. Because I feel like it is another entity of a novel or maybe a novela type.

I find myself skipping the short stories in between the main story because of my curiosity. I may go back and read those stories later but I find that they disrupt my interest in the main story. But they hold a certain beauty on their own.
