Really want this to be over.

So want to DNF this.

Malfi is spending a ton of time having people sit around talking about what they’re going to do and not doing anything.

Not fun to read. Tedious.

It reads like Malfi had an idea but was sort of struggling with the world building/set up and so it’s hard to jump in to, but I’m hoping once he finishes with all of the awkward metaphors about the setting it will pick up.
