This book reminds me of why I liked IEWU in the first place, & that even tho CoHo’s writing is a bit controversial, yet the way she is able to write Lily’s thought process and emotions as an abuse survivor never fails to make me feel so much truth?? she just explores so many realistic layers that go beyond fear or weakness or strength, with literally all the highs and lows and it makes so much sense and truth!
