"There was her brother and the bride, and it was as though when first she saw them something she had known inside of her: They are the we of me" (42). Interesting to see the ups and downs of Frankie as she is experiencing change and her brother starting a new life without her. In Part I she has determined that she will insert herself into her brother's life whether he wants her or not.
