I've been trying to motivate myself to get through this book for over a year. It's not that it isn't enjoyable overall, as I'm really into the world-building so far, but it's difficult to stay engaged due to the majority of said world-building being presented in flashbacks, and I just personally have a hard time with time skips. Nonetheless, we're about halfway there!
