The book is plot driven because it is a series. It also has a very good plot focusing on the main characters.

The story takes place after the first two books. Where katniss and the other main character Peeta have to survive the hunger games twice and must face physical and mental challenges and must keep themselves alive even after they have lost so much

The best part in the story is when katniss and all the free people of the districts surround president snow as he is about to be executed by katniss. Instead of shooting snow, she shoots the president of the free districts. She is arrested and taken to solitary confinement while president snow chokes on his own blood while laughing

The plot of the book is that katniss, the main character has to defeat the Capitol and free the districts from the evil rule of the Capitol. Part way through the book, eh boyfriend Peeta has joined the Capitol and when he is rescued, he hates katniss. Throughout the book, katniss must save the world, survive, overcome he losses, and save Peeta.

The main bad person in the book is president snow. He is he leader of the Capitol. He created the hunger games, has killed many people, and destroyed entire cities. In the end he meets his fate.

A main event in the book is when Peeta is captured by the Capitol and tells the rebels to surrender. This is an important event because he was katniss's boyfriend and he is now a traitor. She is shocked and goes through trauma. Eventually katniss saves Peeta but he hates he when he returns. Finally the love each other again and they live happily ever after.

The main character is katniss. She participated in the hunger games twice. These events have heavily scarred her. Plus her boyfriend peers is captured by the Capitol. Throughout the book, she has been to the hospital, gone crazy, and lost so much that in the epilogue, she has gone throug an extreme amount of depression and barely wants to leave. I am so glad I'm not her.
