Awards, awards, awards. Well, I guess I'd give Eddie the award of Best Heroine Withdrawal of All Time. I mean, he was ticked at all times, but if you even GLANCE at Charlie Pace from Lost, this is GODLY! Seriously, how do you give up a drug and not die? I obviously wouldn't know, not taking drugs and all. BUT CHARLIE PACE. HE ALMOST KILLED HIMSELF, I'M SURE. Eddie was just ticked.

I wonder how overdue this book is?
Prevalent themes... well, there's a lot, but one is perseverance. I know that I say this a lot, but Roland is one persistent guy. Big-time. The Tower is his life goal, but, at this point, the average human being would have said "This is dumb and I regret my life decisions," but Roland keeps on going. It's kind of cool, really. Though it is... strange.

I read slow when the book is boring, k?
Roland is a very serious guy. He wants to find the Tower, and despite his very sarcastic and funny friends, he remains unjoking and calm at all times. This will most likely contribute to him finding the Tower before his life ends, and I'd say it keeps his team decently strong, rubbing off on Eddie and Susannah. However, this isn't always good, mostly to the reader. BORING.

Uh... commercials. Buy this revolver now to kill giant bears that want you for din-din. I guess. There isn't really a way I can do this, like, at all, but I guess if you were advertising a revolver, this'd work pretty decently.

Yeah. The story is HUGELY affected by the setting. Usually in Stephen's books, the scenes are important (Derry in It, Jerusalem's Lot in 'Salem's Lot, and Overlook Hotel (or whatever it was called) in The Shining), but in this book, the entire thing takes place in a whole different universe. Thing is, their culture is also huge, as it is extremely different from us. Having a gun is ADMIRABLE? I think not.

Huh. That's a tough question. Every character in this book is extremely strong (character-wise, not physically), they all have their good and bad parts, they're basically just characters that really satisfy me whenever I read this. I wouldn't change a thing.
