This book is definitely one of the best in the series. The rest of the book is just the story winding down. The conflict it now over by killing Tennyson and they are going home.

They are now tracking down tennyson, but halt was hit by a crossbow, which we know was dipped in poison. Halt was in bad shape, but luckily will was able get an adequate healer. But they didn't know what they souls treat the poison with so will captured one of the assassins who shot halt, and the forced him to tell them what they needed to treat halt with by cutting his vein with his own poison dipped arrow

They have found out were tennyson was, and have gotten to where their ship landed, and are now tracking them down.

Already some tense parts. Didn't waste much time to get started. Already has the character horace who had been missing in the past few books. Also, I thought I would be missing a lot because I don't remember much from the past books, but so far it has been fine, but I assume this might change.
