Prediction. Lock is actually Mercer and he's in a Sim being punished by Nova.

If you read this book you know what I'm talking about,

And with rest events who is the puppet master? It could be any of them! But obviously there is a Sim within a Sim within a sim. Just waiting on that reveal

Prediction:
Locke is actually awesome who is doing a test drive of the software. I think that's why he's so tied into the narrative with Mercer. The rest of the characters are AI who are waking up into sentience and trying to take over some sense of control.

Mercer seems too obvious. Emotionally detached, Mr control. Leaving clues to look at him and no one else. Jah is too smart for that so pass

Emma it's too obvious so maybe it's actually true, Olson because " he's not one of us ". How many times did they say that?

Of course the British voice of Her "subconscious" so maybe Nova is an avatar of herself and the mother was version one. And "Nova" has chosen the dream

Prediction:
the mother is Nova v.1

"No sweets not now. You need to think about your game. You need to come up with your rules. You need to define victory. Then and only then do you start playing.

Do you understand?"


She doesn't. And neither do i. And I'm wondering if it's worth continuing on with this book if the whole thing is about being confused and confusing you. Not really my game either,.bud

I got to be honest this is one of the most boring books that I've read by her. It's missing the passion in the characters that she usually writes. Which is probably because they're all sins but still, boring rate

Overused word of the day: "dark'

Seriously though, I get that's what the book is about she likes dark men. She thinks she's dark. All the scenarios are dark. But do we need to keep using the word? This is kind of like a guitar and the word mate.

Word of the day is dark. And dark is the word of the day.

Although she is never ever going to define what that actually means to her or her characters.

Whatever it is it's not my definition
