It's remarkable that I am 70% of the way through this book (380 pages) and there's maybe been 100 pages worth of plot progression. Nynaeve, Elayne and Aviendha use the Bowl of the Winds, Alliandre, Queen of Ghealadan, swears fealty to Perrin & Rand, Egwene solidifies her hold over the Hall, and Rand marches against the Seanchan. That's all that's happened, and, if memory serves, that is all that happens in the book.

I love Robert Jordan and The Wheel of Time, and I always will, but it is remarkable how little has happened in this book. I remembered the slog starting in Winter's Heart but it really starts here.
