This series really scratches my "Chainsaw Man" itch... It's got gore, a sketchy, scribbly style mixed with photorealism, Cronenbergian & Carpenterian body horror, Lovecraftian madness...all mixed with childlike innocence and a strange irreverence. E.G.: It's hard to believe that the haggard Damemaru, introduced as a mutilated corpse, is only 16...until he asks them to call him 'Hellmaster' and they laugh at him.
