In the novel, Percy has just decided to go on the quest without any permission. Also, Percy retrieved the treasure from the quest, and is now coming back to camp. Percy is the best character in the novel by far. This is true because Percy is the only one who really takes any risks in the story, and is also the only person to find the treasure on the quest.

In the novel, Percy has just gotten the Golden Fleece back home by plane, and is now trying to get home by himself on land. He is taken captive, when a group of centaurs comes to save him and take him back to camp. I predict that when the centaurs took him back to camp, the Golden Fleece was already there and it was already using its magic powers to heal the camp's borders.

In the book, I have gotten to a part where Percy is about to get another quest but is having some problems. The camps director wants another person to go and Percy is currently trying to convince the camp director that he is capable of doing the quest. The title for the book is perfect. This title fits because the quest that Percy wants to go on would lead him into the Sea of Monsters, which is the title of the book.
