I am skeptical of this book, to say the least. Any book about Christ that is "popular with both believers and non-believers" gives me pause, because nothing about Jesus is attractive to the non-believer. But it is lyrically written so far, and Parini is a professed Christian, so I look forward to seeing what he has to say.
