Circa Girl Yay! Rosemary Rogers insanity is my favorite.

Really really good so far. I love the heroine and it's very well written!
I'd like to read more of hers, any recommendations?

Circa Girl That good, eh? I need to try this one. I don't usually search out bodice rippers published later than the early 90s, but I'm intrigued. Her heroines can be sort of hit and miss- sometimes tough bitches, other times....spineless. I highly recommend her 70s contemporary bodice ripper "The Insiders". It's not a historical bodice ripper but it has all the essential ingredients of one with a solid helping of WTFness and major political incorrectness.

I tend to like newer books published in this genre because the political incorrectness can kinda get on my nerves, but I recently read The Flame and the Flower and loved it. So I'm open to trying some older Bodice Rippers. This one was well written. Liked the heroine for the first half, she turned into kind of a spineless mouse in the second. If you like Rosemary Rogers, I'd say it's worth reading.

Yeah, it depends for me. I don't mind a modern bodice ripper every now and then just to break up the non-pc/get-me-a-sandwich-woman monotony. I'll have to check this one out then.
