The author of Reached, uses a lot of description in the emotions. She describes how each character feels after each event happens. For example, Cassia was worried that Ky and Xander weren't safe, so the author described that her stomach felt twisted. I think since the author does this, the story is a lot better than it would be without it.

If I were in my book I would be part of the society because I like things organized like the society had them, and the rising causes conflict, which I would not want to be apart of. Even though the rising is trying to get freedom, the society can provide good lives for people.

I think that the story takes place in the future because of the organization and technology that they have. Our generation has lots of technology like phones, computers, etc. but they have bigger and better technology like air trains and air ships. Also, they have a very organized system, dinners, when your born and die, living places, jobs, etc. is all very organized.

I just started my book, and when I read it I think of a big war going to happen because it reminds me of Mocking jay or the Hunger Game series. Also, The Rising sounds like a group of people who want to fight and win, and I think the are beginning to start a war. Cassia always says it's happening, but I want to know what is?
