“Theres a lot of magic between you too, ain't no denying that. and magic makes forgottin’ hard.” The tone of this phrase it that there is something between these to people. that they are always there for each other. The meaning of the word magic is that they love each other. that they always find a way to be together.

I think one of the themes from this book would be friendship. My example for friendship is " "she new that Tuck understood that more than anyone". This is shwoing friendship because it shows that Tuck is always there for Amanda. Also love is another theme. I choose love because in the book it says "Amanda was all he could think about" . I think it is love becauase it shows he cares about her.

suspense is a state or feeling of excited or anxious uncertainty about what may happen. The author in my book uses suspense by having Amanda and Dawson separated for about 20 years. He also uses suspense making Dawson's family very dangerous. Dawson's family are all criminals so you never really know what is going to happen.

My Favorite part of the book I am reading so far is when amanda comes back to her home town. I think this is my favorite part because when she comes back she finally gets to see dawson. They havent seen each other in 21 years.

Foreshadowing is a warning or an indication. I just started reading my book so i have not seen any foreshadowing yet in my book.

"By the time he sat down, the dark-haired man was gone." This sentence and book is showing 3rd person. It affects the plot because it helps me understand the book a lot better and makes me feel like I am there.
