I’m loving this! It’s so neat to read kid’s books like this and see what catches your eyes now. For ex., it mentions the marriage of a young teen and the shock and sadness in two girl’s reactions. I had the impression that this was a more boring entry in the series, but I’m finding it so delightful. It hints with pain at sadness and struggle, but also so well captures feelings like freedom and exhilaration.
