Hmm, I found the Game Changers to be overly confusing. Didn't enjoy it much.

Slogging through it, finding the occasional gem in amongst the stories.

Skipped to read all the authors I know and like, or am curious about. Not surprisingly, this collection has improved. Tim Curran and William Meikle's contributions were good, and Jeffrey Thomas' story was the best of the lot. Will continue with a couple of others and then review my progress.

The story of Troy as affected by R'lyeh? Underwhelming.

Four tales in and nothing about this volume is really grabbing me. I'm giving it two more stories to arrest the slide before setting it aside. There's almost too much homage, and not enough originality being brought to the table.

White Feather was another just okay story. Didn't grab or thrill me.

Just going to wade through this one story at a time ... The first, Loyalty by John Shirley was an okay scene-setter, as the future human race has to rely on Cthulhu itself to save them from invading aliens. 3 stars.
