I think the prevalent theme in this book is trust. She never really knows who to trust during the book. She never knew if she could trust Marcus from what he had done to Tobias. Sometimes she doesn't know when she can trust Tobias. She can only trust certain people. Like Christina. She is her best friend since the first time they met, but now Christina doesn't know if she can trust her for what she did to Will.

My opinion to Tris' personality is courageous and opiniative. I would say this because she does things that lot's of people wouldn't do and she says her opinion whether you like it or not. I think this contributes to her success because she has gone very far being divergent and using her courage to get through battles. Though, her opinion has gotten her in trouble. Which has gone to failure.

When I think of the main character; Tris, I visualize someone who is 18 or 19. I would say this because she seems very young, but old enough to be an adult. I visualizer her with short blonde hair because that's what the book states. I also picture someone strong and a little on the shorter side. I would say this because I feel like Tobias is really tall a=so I compared the two.

I chose this book because I had already read the first book in the series and I wanted to continue the series. Also, with the ending of the first book I just had to read the second one to know what would happen next. So far I love this book. It has lots of action just like the first book.

If I would change the behavior of a character I would change Peter. How that would affect the story would be that Edward would still be here, and Tris wouldn't have had to go through 5 hours of the peace serum. If Peter hadn't been as greedy for the hard drive they wouldn't have gotten in the fight.

In the book Tris followed Marcus into the woods. At first I wondered why she did that, but know know more about abnegation I know why she did. She only wanted to know why the erudite destroyed abnegation and she thought that Marcus would know. I think that it was a good idea that she did follow him, into the woods because if I were her I would want to know why that happened to where I used to live.

This book takes place in the future. I know this because everyone is split into factions and that never happened in the past, and its not happening now. If this would take place now I think everything would be different because with our government I don't think they would even have factions especially in such a large city.
