I'm reading this series once again.
I'm probably the only person who is an avid reader and reviewer of Yuki's books on GR but hey someone needs to review her books.(Shrugs)

Ruri's obsession with Setsuna and jealously of Sara was her undoing.
Her friendship with Sara was ruined over it.
Setsuna didn't even remember her after she was slaughtered.
He was rude to Ruri from their very first encounter.
She ruined her friendship with Sara for nothing.
Sara is also an awful friend.

I'm reading this series again for the third time.

I noticed the pattern Yuki has with the way she writes her female characters:
1.Naive
2.weak
3.emotional
4.only existing in the story for lazy romance
5.to almost be killed and/or r*ped.
I haven't seen anyone complaining about the way Yuki writes her female characters but then again she is a woman so I guess she is above reproach to these GR people too bad for the male mangaka who doesn't share this privilege on GR.

As I'm re-reading this story I'm realizing more and more how awful Setsuna and Sara's mother is and that Setsuna is manipulative to his sister, pressuring her to have a romantic relationship with him which causes her and his life to fall apart drastically. The whole family is nuts.
