It's so current, that I'm not used reading essays and memoirs of its setting. This isn't recent history, this is like yesterday.
So many new shows and stories are set in times 2019 or less, just to circumvent incorporating COVID safety measures.;Being stuck in SiP protocols;Wearing masks etc.
Growing up Asians, we all experienced everything from blatant racism to passive / intrinsic bias. But this is different.
