I began to read this book because I have heard about it from a friend. I had high expectations, and this book has not disappointed. It is the original dystopian novel, and in many ways far better than current dystopian novels.

I would recommend this book as it is the first and my favorite dystopian novel. I like it way more than today's cliché dystopian novels.

The concept of how a government can control its people is astounding. Not through force can a government fully control their people. The government can only truly control people through their brain. The worst control isn't physical, it is mental.
