Warren Tracey is very mean. He repeat lay calls his son a wimp and puts him down and always finds a way to hurt him. For example "common hit me with the damn ball. You won't do it you are nothing but a wimp" (pg151). This is why warren Tracey is very mean.

The reporter is very direct. he wants to get straight to the point. For example "look warren I didn't come here to play games so gimme the facts and we can talk later" (142). and that is why the reporter is very direct

The first baseman Joey has changed from being mean to being friendly. For example "I'm usually mean to people when I first meat them I don't know why but I am"(Pg99). And that is how Joey has changed

Joe is very coregous. He a rookie and he has make many dangerous moves during games. For example "joe sneaks off 3rd base and gets ready to run for home plate" and that is why joe is coregous

when Joe found out that he was trades to the Mets I was happy for him. although his father had played for the team he was happy to pitch for the Mets. as soon as the media found out he was traded there were a million articles about it. im excited to see what happens next

I felt sad when joes dad died. he wasn't the nicest or the most supportive person in the world but when he died I was sad because whenever someone dies it is always sad to me

In the past chapter they have introduced us to the characters and gave us a gist of what's to come in the rest of the story. Also Calico Joes Dad is mentioned. He is dying of a disease.
