I’m gonna be putting this book down for a while. It’s well written but it’s also 800 pages long and in zero rush to move the plot along. Some scenes seem dragged out twice as long they need to be, and then hard hitting scenes happen incredibly quickly with no emotional payoff. I’m 452 pages in, why has nothing happened yet!
