I’ve read about the Shroud of Turin for decades. This book, although fictional, recounts in great detail why the Shroud could be the actual burial cloth of Jesus. Fascinating reading.

I’m about halfway through this book. It’s an excellent book, has good pace, and with each completed chapter, I eagerly anticipate the next.
The story gets more intriguing with each chapter.

Quite an interesting premise. A priest dies in a horrible car crash and is given an assignment by God to interpret the codex within The Shroud of Turin. The priest is revived in the hospital by doctors who restarted his heart. The priest begins to resemble Christ Jesus in appearance, and also experiences the stigmata, a spontaneous severe bleeding from his wrists, in the exact location where Christ was pierced.
