I've spent a lot of time teaching the European theater of WWII. I would love to get back into a social studies class and teach the Pacific theater using Louie Zamperini's story. So far I am thoroughly appreciating this book and realizing more how unimportant trivial things are. Looking forward to the film once I finish!
