On page 163-180 form "Romiette and Julio" tell us about when Romiette and Julio fall in love, but a local gang called the "Devildogs" is against them being together. Romiette is African-American. Julio is Hispanic. The gang that rules the neighborhood believes that those two races should not mix.The young couple obtains many setbacks, because of the gang. Even with the gang doing all these horrible things to them
