I picked up this because my mom passed away 7 years ago (although it doesn't feel that long) and this is a story about a woman writing letters to her deceased mom so I thought it would be comforting and it has been good even though our mothers are not similar, the love between daughter and mother is evident.

The letters are well written and even though her parents are different from my parents, it is good to read and makes me reflect on my relationship with my now deceased mom and my widowed father.
