So far this book is just a prime example of why I’m afraid to get married. We know jack is toxic, Faye too?

I find it interesting when the chapter is about the past it’s in 1st person POV and present writing is in 3rd. Obviously I’m still in the very beginning but is this because she doesn’t associate herself as Faye even though she was happy the Matilda part of her life died?
