I have no clue since I'm not far into the book, but there is a girl in the book named Alaska who smokes and seems to have some problems but I predict something will happen to her and she runs away and her friends in the college try to look for her. Also the book cover has some sort of smoke coming from the bottom and I think that can be smoke from a cigarette she smokes/smoked.

I don't like how Pudge described "The Eagle" because it seems like you pretty much can't do anything without getting in major trouble. Like you're always being watched, hence the name "The Eagle". I think the author included this in the book because the students often do bad things that shouldn't be done.
