Have to admit it's going a little slow for me. I'm still reading, but find myself returning to graphic novels in between sittings with this one.

After a bit of a break from reading, I decided to tackle this one. Considering my interest in the time period and characters, I should enjoy it! So far so good! Big book though, so any progress seems to be in small bumps.

My iPod app was putting the wrong updates on the wrong books. So I'm trying to fix that. I'm only 4% done with this one.

During another early morning coughing fit, I finished up the first book in this six book omnibus, "Whiskey Sour". I have to say it was an impressive debut. Well written and living up to the critical praise. I'm going to take a break for now. Reading about killers gets old and I can't take repeat doses one after the other. No matter how interesting or witty the lead character. But I'll be back! Nice job Mr. Konrath!

Not sure how fast I'll get through this book. Probably take breaks between the six books contained in this omnibus. It's well written, but I just don't enjoy these kinds of "killer of the week" books much any more. I devoured Silence of the Lambs back when it was first published. Loved William Diehl's Primal Fear. But, after awhile, they start to get old.
