Jesus. I'm struggling so much to read this because the way he was writing about his effort to study Vietnamese rubbed me the wrong way. I was rubbed the wrong way even more after reading his writing on Korean... Dude. Are you aware how many similar words that Korean shares with Japanese? Both call bags 'kaban', carbon 'tansan', and many more that I can't recall right now.
