I started to think if the narrator ever stops playing basketball when he passes where his best friend J.R got killed. Does he ever think about it when he's playing in the court, knowing they killed his friend there even seeing the blood that didn't get washed.

The setting in this book mostly takes place in a park called Rucker park where they play hoops and make competitions and there's fences and blood spots on the floor audience screaming and talking crap to each other.
