Omg I love this series! So stressful but so good 😂 I hope you’re enjoying it! I feel like book three is where things that to really get good

@Ash - I can’t tell you the number of times I delayed starting this series because I was too caught up in his Hazardverse couples, but this has been absolutely PHENOMENAL so far—as in “no time to write reviews right now because I have to know what happens next” levels of amazing! Breaks all the conventional YA rules, and yes, delivers plenty of stress and emotional pain to my doorstep, but what’s new? 🤣 Good news is GA has more for the spin-off series in store for us in the very near future, so I guess the timing couldn’t have been better 😌

It really does!! I felt the same while reading it, I was my first GA series and I wasn’t prepared for all the angst 😂 the concept of it all is just so good, I wish more people would read it. I’ve been waiting for book two of the spin off forever 😭😭 when I tell you book one has the worst cliffhanger I have ever experienced, I had to throw my kindle away and smack it with some pillows 🤣 so you definitely picked a good time and hopefully won’t have to wait as long!!😂

@Ash - Wow I can't imagine this series being my first foray into GA's work, it's so unbelievably intense!! But I'll definitely be recommending it (with hearty reminders to check the tws, of course!) to everyone once I catch up. Now I'm scared for the spin off, should I wait till he releases an official release date to start for the safety of my Kindle? 🤣 Hopefully you'll get some much-needed reprieve soon, but if GA has taught us anything, it's to expect more angst and cliffhangers that leave us scrambling to make sense of life 😆

Yeah I was surprised when I read some of his other stuff and it was so different, but it also prepared me for all levels of angst 😂 yeah it’d probably be a good idea to hold off 😬 at least until we have some bit of an idea when the next book will be so you won’t have to suffer too much 😭

@Ash - Yeah, there's no steady supply of humor with this series, which was a huge surprise! I'm a quarter into The Mortal Sleep, and it sure feels a lot like waiting for the axe to inevitably fall. As for the spin-off, I'll see where my mind is at once I finish Hollow Folk. My mind is too busy wondering what's going on in the shadows, who to trust--so many questions that will only get answered by trudging forward. Here's to praying my heart makes it out in one piece 🤣
