So far this book has broken my heart and made me angry. NOT ALL TEACHERS ARE STUPID AND DON'T CARE. SOME OF US WERE BURNED OUT BY THE SAME SYSTEM THAT IS FAILING OUR KIDS. SOME OF US CARE TOO MUCH AND NEARLY KILLED THEMSELVES DOING EVERYTHING THEY COULD TO TEACH THESE KIDS AS MUCH AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE!

Starting to see that maybe the system isn't broken because of the teachers. Glad that started being acknowledged because I was getting really ticked at this book! Is it wrong that I chuckled during parts of the Teaching Fellows complete meltdowns because all I could think was "Welcome to the realities of teaching" ? ;P
