JB is changing from a very good agent from a bad agent. He always used to set up the right times for meetings and got Susan Carol whatever she wanted. Now he is planning her life on his schedule and is doing whatever he wants without her permission. For example, he planned one of her meetings while she had school not caring that she will miss school. (83) That shows that he is now a lousy agent.

Susan Carol is a very sensitive girl. She gets very upset and angry when people judge her. For example, when her agent publishes a news paper article crediting her for her looks and not her swimming she feels useless and gets very upset, she is so sad she goes crying to her dad saying "how can you let this happen!" (92).

Susan Carol's dad is very protective. He is always watching out for her. For example , on page 63 he told the reporters that she has to wear one of her advertisers hats because signed a contract to wear it and she wanted to wear it and not get in trouble.

Susan Carol is an intelligent, friendly and pretty girl from North Carolina. She gets straight A's in school. She is also a teen sports reporter and competes at a high level in swimming. In one year she gains 15 pounds of muscle, grows an inch and shaves a minute off of her 200 meter butterfly. Not just that, she is instantly a teen sensation beating the best swimmers in the world.
