It's okay so far. Slow beginning and it reminds me of The Belgariad (1982) with the world "breaking" & magical beings responsibe for the destiny of humanity & everything centering around a humbole farm boy. It's also reminding me of Game of Thrones with the long winter and talk of changing weather patterns and the new coming of monsters. However, the story so far is different enough that I'm enjoying it.
