So overall I really enjoyed the first part of this book. I will say thought I'm not exactly happy about this possible love triangle between Bea, Carl, and Glen. I feel as though the book didn't need a situation like this to be good. Also, the scene at the camp with Carl and Val felt very out of place as well.

Maybe it's just me, but I couldn't finish the book. I felt as if it was going nowhere, especially after the mother left. I returned the book to the library, sorely disapointed
