This is a truly bizarre dark horror comedy with some incredible psychological complexities. I'm...not sure how to handle this. But i know I want to read the next volume!

This is non-stop whiplash. Body horror! Cute animal sidekick! Grinding poverty! Family tragedy! Yakuza! Government agencies! Legitimately abusive female love interest! "He was attacked by a testicle demon!" I'm not even sure what to think. And I'm not even done with the first volume. Also, I really do like that this isn't the typical manga abusive girlfriend -- it's setting her up as GENUINELY manipulative & cruel.
